Double ageing,from Flic & Flac to Javrezac.

This 2013 vintage was distilled at New Grove, Mauritius’s oldest distillery, from molasses and column stills. It spent nine years in bourbon casks under the island’s tropical climate, then travelled to Ferrand in France for a further two years in cognac casks — a signature Planteray double ageing.

The result is a rum that balances Mauritian intensity with continental refinement : tropical fruit, spice, and a long, layered finish. Bottled at 46.5 % with a light dosage of 4.5 g/L.
