What's inside.

  • 3 cl Dry gin
  • 3 cl Bitter
  • 3 cl Italian sweet vermouth
  • 1 cl Filtered water, for dilution
  • · No additives, no preservatives
Serving suggestion

How to serve.

Cold bottle, big ice, fresh orange peel. The whole ritual takes under a minute and rewards you for the rest of the evening.
  1. Take the bottle out of the fridge ten minutes before. Not earlier.
  2. Drop one large ice cube into a tumbler — the bigger the better.
  3. Pour 100 ml straight over the ice. Don't shake, don't stir.
  4. Cut a wide strip of orange peel, twist it over the glass, drop it in.

There is no good reason for a Negroni to be at home only sometimes. Some drinks are improved by being ready. We batch ours in the morning, before service — same gin, same vermouth, same hand on the bar spoon — and bottle it the same day.

No preservatives, no shortcuts. The dilution is dialled in for an ice cube the size of a wine cork. Pour, twist, sit down — the only thing you owe it is ten minutes of attention.
