Mhoba distills its rum from pure sugarcane juice on its own estate in Mpumalanga, South Africa — a true farm-to-bottle operation. This 2020 vintage, known as WRD9, was aged for 4 years in ex-bourbon casks before being selected for The Nectar.

The result is a high-ester, fruit-forward rum with a gentle funk, softened by the sweetness of bourbon wood. Bottled at 57.4 %, it delivers the intensity and transparency of a single cask, unfiltered and without additives.
