Barley grownnext door.

The Mitchell family has been running Springbank since 1828, and they still do everything by hand : malting the barley on a stone floor, distilling in pot stills shaped almost like nothing else in Scotland, filling and labelling on the same site.

The Local Barley series traces back to grain grown within walking distance of the still room. This 2025 release at eight years is young by Springbank standards — and full of the salinity and malted bite that make Campbeltown its own region of one.
