Longueteau Parcelle n°9
“Since 1895, The Longueteau Distillery has made its agricultural rum from the sugarcane plantations of the “Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte –Marie”, which is located at the foot of the Soufrière mountain range. The Domain is composed of 12 plots of 2 sugarcane types : The red cane (R-579) and the Blue Cane (B69-566). Each plot of the Domain is grown and selected in order to convey the expression of an exceptional soil and the perfect combination of the ground, the environment and the family Know-How.
The “Longueteau Sélection Parcellaire Canne Rouge 2014 n°9″ Rum, comes from a plot which is cultivated in a damp area, surrounded by waterway. It reveals a soft character. The first notes are sweet, almost woody, then give way to a final full of roundness and fineness.
This plot selection reveals a rum with an unique character which will know how to thrill your senses by making you travel at the heart of Guadeloupe.” -From Longueteau.
