\nTHE 2020 VINTAGES COLLECTION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In honor of their exceptional character, the bottles of the Plantation \u00abterroir\u00bb rum collection are now decorated with special labels worthy of the uniqueness
\nof each vintage and each country of origin. For the 2020 editions, local birds brighten the labels with their colorful feathers. These exotic images, evoking the iconic illustrations of the Comte de Buffon, are a real treat for the eye.<\/p>\n

PLANTATION\u2019S \u201cFOUR-HANDS\u201d PROGRAM<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The \u201cFour-Hands\u201d program exemplifies the philosophy at the heart of the brand: the essential preservation of rum cultures and their traditions.
\nOur vintage rums are the fruit of inspired collaboration between Alexandre and passionate distillers, who work together to select and blend the barrels that will form an ideal unison. Like pianists, they share a keyboard to perform a duet. The goal: To bring out a product\u2019s finest elements and create perfect harmony.<\/p>\n

\u2014\u00a0FIJI 2005 \u2014<\/h3>\n

Exchanges of cultures and knowledge, innumerable tastings and passionate discussions between Alexandre Gabriel and Liam F. Costello at the Rum Co. of Fiji resulted in this rum.<\/p>\n

Distilled entirely in triple column stills and aged for 14 years in Bourbon casks in the mild climate of the Fiji Islands, this rum developed an expansive palette of different flavors. Building on this is Plantation Rum\u2019s proprietary second maturation, for Fiji Vintage 2005 this means one year spent maturing in Ferrand French oak barrels in the House\u2019s cellars in Cognac.<\/p>\n

Gabriel and Costello\u2019s curation of casks in Fiji followed by this final ageing process in a continental climate, gives Fiji Vintage 2005 its unique character, aroma and flavor. Each step of the way, both the Fiji and the French teams worked hand in hand.<\/p>\n
